Edinburgh Art Fair, Edinburgh Corn Exchange | 13-15th November 2015

Glasgow based artists Karen L Vaughan, Kotryna Ula Kiliulyte and Irvine based Alex Boyd are represented by Street Level at the Edinburgh Art Fair. Street Level currently offers high quality contemporary photographic prints and we are pleased to be partnering with Stills this year to amplify the support for quality contemporary photographic work being produced in Scottish today.

The practice of the three covers a range of subject matter and approaches ranging from still life to landscape, and all with broadly common themes related to identify, place, nostalgia and change. Kotryna's work looks at how food is related to our cultural identify; Karen's panorama's explore the east coastal legacies of fishing villages and surrounding landscapes; Alex used antique photographic processes to capture haunting images from remote locations in Scotland and the 'edges' of Ireland. A selection of other work from Street Level's collection will also be available.

Stills will be presenting works by Caroline Douglas, David Grinly and Evan Thomas at Edinburgh Art Fair. They are all based in the Edinburgh area and represent the kind of 'early career talent' that Stills is keen to support. Together, their works offer a variety of techniques and interests.
